TCM cured Man with a Boil, Abcess

A male patient, 56 years old came to see me complaining of his boil on his back. The boil measured 2 x 2 cm. He said he went to see a western doctor for his boil. The doctor just gave him antibiotic cream. He said he felt very uncomfortable with his boil as the boil was reddish and swollen. It was a bit painful. I treated him with acupuncture and gave him external medicine to apply. I also prescribed him with Chinese herbal medicine and told him to come back 3 days later. He was staying at Depot Road. On 2^nd Oct he came, I could squeeze out some pus and blood from the boil. I told him to continue with the Chinese herbal medicine. On 8^th Oct, the boil had subsided substantially. He came to see again on 15^th Oct for some other complaint. This time I saw that the boil was 98% healed.

One girl, age, 26, likes to wear ear rings on her ear, around the helix. One day, she found that left ear was swollen. Her ear was swollen with pus. So, she went to see a general practitioner, He did an insertion for her and also prescribed anti-biotic medicine for her. The swelling of her ear subsided. But after a few days, the ear was swollen again. She went to the same doctor, he suggested to do another insertion again. Again few days later, her ear swelled again. This time, she decided to come see a TCM physician. She was introduced to see me. I did several acupuncture treatments and prescribed some herbal medicine for her. The swelling was gone after one month (unfortunately the insertion scars were still there).
