Hair Loss grew well after TCM Treatment TCM Clinic for Hair Loss
We have many patients who suffered hair loss. Many of them spent a lot of money to cure their hair loss problem. They tried many other places and did not see good results. One of my patient said that he had spent $15,000 on his hair loss problem over the last few years. He said these companies he went for hair loss treatment would persuade him to sign on for more hair loss packages before the old package ended by giving some concessions. So at the end of it, he realized the improvement was not good. Then he turned to TCM clinic. Usually, our TCM physicians do not ask patients to continue to sign on. These patients started with one month of hair loss treatment, when they see good results for their hair loss problem, they will normally sign on for more months. For normal cases, hair loss treatment took about 3 months to see hair growth. But for severe cases, they may need hair loss treatment for six months. In our TCM clinic, the cost of one month of hair loss treatment is $560 for 8 sessions and additional of $280 for four weeks supply of hair loss herbal medicine to enhance the hair growth.

There was one student who had a very serious case of hair loss 全头秃头.
This young student who was 16 yrs old was studying for his "O" level exam and was
over-anxious, he hair loss was almost 90% left. He came for treatment for about 4 to 5 months,

This patient came for hair loss treatment. She said that she had alopecia areata (鬼剃头) since she was a teenage. It happened on and off over the years and she had lost almost 30 % of her hair. A Case of Hair Loss and Bald
Patch with on-set of eczema
It is not surprising to see
eczema patients complain about severe hair loss or even those suffering from
bald patches. Some of them may observe that their eye brows and eye lashes also
start to drop. However, I have seen many cases that when their eczema
condition improved or their eczema completely disappeared, the hair also
started to grow back gradually. I always have to assure my patients that
when their eczema gets better, their hair will also grow back. More importantly
the eczema must be treated first.
Here is one case of a teenage boy
who had hair loss. The middle of his scalp became bald. This patient had very
bad eczema for 16 years. He wore thick jacket even in hot weather and yet
felt very cold. His face, neck, body and legs had eczema and the eczema
was reddish in colour. He also had slight swelling in his legs. He felt
lethargic most of the time and could not sleep well at night before of itchiness. His parents were
very concerned about his hair loss condition.
For three months, he faithfully came for treatments and consumed TCM oral herbal medicine, the redness of his eczema slowly disappeared and all the eczema bumps subsided and eventually he was rid of eczema. His hair also started to grow back (see above picture). Normally, for this type of hair loss cases triggered by eczema, it usually takes about 6 months for his hair to be fully grown.

The above patient had very severe hair loss when she came. She was depressed about her hair loss. She tried many other places and she saw little results. She tried our hair loss programme and was happy with our treatment as she could see better results. We treat not only hair loss problem, we prescribed TCM herbal medicine to enhance her hair growth.
A woman, age 45, came to see me and looked very sad. She showed me her head, there were 3 five-cents-coin scalp with little hair or no hair 秃头。She said that a whole bunch of hair dropped off when she washed her hair. She said she was very worried as more hair may drop off. She asked if I can help her and whether the hair could grew back. I told her it was possible that the hair would grow back. It might take about 2 ~3 months for the hair to grow back. Firstly I have to stop her hair from dropping; secondly, to stimulate her hair growth.
I treated her with Scalp hair growth stimulation treatment (刺激头皮毛囊理疗法), followed with massage of the whole head with special hair growth herbal lotion and acupuncture on the head. This is to activate the hair pores and to improve blood circulation. Besides this manual treatment, I also gave her herbal medicine to nourish her hair so as to prevent further hair loss and stimulate hair growth. TCM believe that it is the body internal deficiency that causes hair loss. Therefore, we treat externally and internally.
She came for eight sessions of hair loss treatment. After one month, she found that her hair did not drop further and her hair started to grow again. After three months, her hair was normal again and she has more hair.
